After the independence, was created the Ministry of Trade under the aegis of the Ministry of the economy which also included the Ministry of finance and industry. During the period from 1990 to 1994 the Ministry of Commerce was renamed Ministry of economy. The Department brought together two institutions Ministerial: the delegate Minister of trade and theMinister responsible for finance. The Ministry of Commerce was established under Decree Executive No. 207/94 dated July 16, 1994,after it was under the tutelage of the Ministry of economy before Amendment No 189/90 dated June13, 1990, with which the Ministry of Trade took over its functions.
